Ups downs and testing times.....

What an amazing summer its been so far....
Lots of great flying here in France, with some lovely new faces coming to fly and also a few returning ones.
Les Lac de Haut Charente AKA Home
Firstly a role call of the exam test passes of 6 passes over 6 weeks with tests all passed first time by Mike Leonard, Anna Janas, Joke Vroegop, Andrew Raistrick, Yann Breton, John Matthews and at the time of writing there are 2 more tests this coming week.
There have also been some memorable flights with regular pilots Gwen Jenner which are always a huge highlight a particular one down to the south of France Med coast over the mountains and down to the beaches.
This morning we had a touch of radiation fog
I have been really lucky in the fact that August so far has been a record month of flying since I started flying here in Limoges and I am humbled by the support given by the local ( & not so local) pilots coming flying here and I must mention a huge thankyou to Gustavo David who came  to help me teaching for a few weeks to keep everyone flying.
I have had the chance to fulfill every boy pilot's dream of sitting in a Spitfire on a chance passing through Angouleme airport.
LFBL or commonly known as 'The Office'
At the beginning of August we had the annual Sue Virr fly-in BBQ which was well attended with planes coming from Jersey, Marjorca, and all over France and the support was lovely as well as the weather.
Andrew Raistrick and I enjoyed some low flying over the Atlantic Coast this week
Thus far for the coming weeks, lots more flying is planned with new students expected start next week traveling from further and further afield such as Belgium and Holland......
I will endeavour to keep the updates coming and I have enclosed lots of the recent pictures......
Keep Flying !!!!
